Quotations:The Islamic teachings have left great traditions for equitable and gentle dealings and behavior…

“The Islamic teachings have left great traditions for equitable and gentle dealings and behavior, and inspire people with nobility and tolerance. These are human teachings of the highest order and at the same time practicable. These teachings brought into existence a society in which hard-heartedness and collective oppression and injustice were the least as compared with all other societies preceding it….Islam is replete with gentleness, courtesy, and fraternity.” – H.G. Wells

  1. It’s even more amazing when you know this came from someone who did not follow religion and was an Evolutionist. There are other famous writers like Shaw and Goethe who said good things about Islam, with even Goethe being influenced by Islam in his writings. Most of this is never even mentioned or hidden away, and I was amazed when I came upon it myself.

  2. Wow, thank you for the amazing quote from H.G. Wells. I had no idea, and that is my fault.
